This winter, something special is sprouting at Yatton Park. In a heartfelt tribute to those affected by cancer, the park is set to become a stunning sea of yellow—just in time for Daffodil Day.

We’re incredibly proud to help bring Memory Meadow to life right here in Tauranga, a heartfelt space that honours loved ones affected by cancer and gives hope to those still facing the fight.

In partnership with the Cancer Society Bay of Plenty, and with support from Tauranga City Council, we’re transforming a patch of Yatton Park into a field of bright yellow daffodils. Each bloom planted is a tribute, a way to remember, reflect, and raise funds for a cause that touches so many Kiwis.

How You Can Get Involved

You can help make this vision a reality! For a $5 donation, anyone can plant a daffodil, with 100% of funds going directly to the Cancer Society Bay of Plenty. The goal is to sell 5,000 bulbs, and the more bulbs that are purchased, the greater the impact on cancer support services in our community.

Bulbs are available for purchase online, and there’s also the opportunity to get your hands dirty at a community planting event. Mark your calendars for Saturday 10 May at 1 pm at Yatton Park, where you can buy bulbs on-site and take part in planting them to create the meadow.
