EVES first opened our doors in 1969 and has been leading the real estate market ever since.
Over these 50+ years we’ve continued to go from strength to strength now with 15 dedicated offices throughout the North, the Waikato and the Bay of Plenty and more than 160 salespeople delivering exceptional service every single day. Read more about our journey here;
1969 Max Eves and Alwyn Coxhead opened first office on Cameron Road, joined later by Graham Udy and Brian Waldegrave.
1975 The second EVES office was opened on Maunganui Road. Graeme Ferrabee joined the company.
1985 Realty Services Ltd was formed and operated as BOP Real Estate (RC), later rebranded to Harveys and EVES Real Estate.
1990 Richard Cashmore & Brian Waldegrave took over as the owners of EVES Realty
1993 EVES Rotorua opened. Refitted in 2018.
1994 EVES Willow Street opened.
2000-2007 EVES opened three new office in the Bay of Plenty; Papamoa (later refitted in 2010), Greeton and Bethlehem. Growing our network to six offices.
2009 EVES Katikati opened, our first franchise.
2012 EVES Hamilton Mill Street joined the Group - our first office in the mighty Waikato.
2013 EVES Rototuna opened - our second office in the Waikato, cementing our poisition as a major real estate business in the region.
2014-2016 A further three Bay of Plenty offices opened their doors; EVES Cherrywood (transferred from Willow Street), EVES Gate Pa (transferred from Greeton) and EVES The Lakes.
2018 EVES Whangarei opened, our second franchise for the group and first Northland office. EVES Victoria Street also opened this year.
2019 EVES Mount office refit.
2020 EVES Waihi opened, our third franchise. Whangarei moved into a new premises this year also.
2021 Awarded New Zealand’s Most Trusted Real Estate Agency at the Most Trusted Business Awards - an award we have continue to win every year since.
2022-2023 Two new offices in the Waikato joined our group - EVES Huntly and EVES Putaruru.
2024 EVES Omokoroa opened, upping our office tally to 15!
