Sarah Garnett joined her husband Jeff in real estate a few years after he started, so has long been an integral part of Team Garnett. Her prior career spanned administration and management in the agriculture and export industries for a local authority, a Trust Company, and a community-based organisation.
Her role has evolved from client management and buyer liaison to the full gamut of real estate and most of the business she brings to Team Garnett is repeat or referrals from people she has sold property to.
While Sarah enjoys walking the dog, reading, playing golf badly and catching up with friends, the bulk of her spare time is devoted to her beloved game of hockey.
One advantage of the transition to Team Garnett was the flexibility to continue her role as an International Hocky Umpire which spanned 19 years and Olympic Games, World Cups, Commonwealth Games and numerous other international tournaments. Since 2009 Sarah has acted as an FIH International Manager/Coach to the International Umpires, a role she held for two World Cups in Holland and Spain and the London Olympics and Paris Olympics 2024.
Sarah’s dedication has been recognised by life membership to the Tauranga Hockey Association and a Gold Service Award from Hockey New Zealand.
