I’ve been to numerous house viewings for the past few months and met many agents, however, I was informed multiple times from multiple agents that I should wait as my KiwiSaver hadn’t reached 3 years and my deposit wasn’t more than 20% of the house price. Then I went to a new house viewing and met Kellie. Kellie started to design how I could purchase a property in my current situation. I showed my expression to Kellie how much I liked the house and there you go bang! the next day, Kellie started to design how I could make my way to purchase the property. She explained with details when I asked her questions as I did not know what those hard words meant on the sales and purchase agreement. We listed two investment properties with Kellie. They were both in pretty bad condition and the market's not smoking which meant Kellie had to work hard to get people to see the potential in them. She ended up getting multiple offers on both which meant we could move on and get the damn things sold! She did a great job building a relationship with the tenants, treating them with the respect they deserved which meant they were happy to accommodate viewings and open homes. When my husband and I decided to sell our home, we had lived in and loved for the past 12 years, we remembered we had an information sheet that Kellie Kanara-Batt had put into our post box earlier in the week stating all the current sales of homes in our area. We rang her on impulse and asked if she could do an appraisal for us. This was at 4.50 pm on a Friday, despite it being very short notice, this did not deter Kellie and she was sitting with us in our outdoor area within 10 minutes of our phone call. During our conversation and later dealings with Kellie we realized quite quickly that she was a very sincere women, honest and caring of her clients. Her dedication to her job was commendable and the knowledge she imparted was very clear and concise. We were able to ask questions, which she answered confidently and with assurance, which left us in no doubt that our property was being handled in a very confident and caring manner. To cut to the chase our very lovely Kellie became our Agent of choice and had us up and running with our 1st Open Home within two working weeks. She was always available for us if we had any concerns and was in contact with us whenever she had any information or queries, and to update us on progress either by phone or text. We received a Weekly Vendor Reports with activity & feedback after each Open Home which was much appreciated. We are delighted to say that Kellie was successful in selling our home after a few weeks and we are now in the process of packing to move once again.
