Gill is simply outstanding. The office environment and culture we enjoy is excellent; there is a special comradery and openness within our branch that I suspect would be unusual in the industry considering we are essentially competitors and it is Gill that needs to be acknowledged for this for it is her that has fostered and driven the culture we all get to enjoy.
Gill's approachability is legendary and when it comes to industry knowledge I doubt there would be many who could match her - basically whatever Gill tells me I take as gospel, such is the confidence I have in her. Gill is a worker - no doubt about ir, if a job needs to be done, no matter how menial Gill will do it.
Gill is proud of her team and we are proud to have her as our leader.

In a close knit environment made up of independent contractors - and demanding ones at that, one thing I've personally discovered over the years is the 'culture' is the key to ensuring harmony within this environment. In my opinion, and for what it's worth, culture is lead from the top. This person must be someone who leads by example, has virtue, is respected by their team, practices what they preach, supports a diversity of personalities, is impartial, backs their team when they are right albeit reprimands them when they are not, can 'swim' in any situation and maintains an equal balance of authority yet approachability. For us, Gill is this person. She is the most valued and vital part of what keeps us in sync as a team. For this this, we love her and collectively believe she is so deserving of being recognised for her commitment and support.

Dani - current team member

Gill's job is more than just manager, it's like she is "Mum" to over 20 children who are always needing something from her - you should see the line us wanting to go into her office sometimes! She does such a great job at managing our team, negotiating all our needs and making sure we all feel valued. Some people don't like going to work, well Gill has managed to create an office atmosphere where we all enjoy coming in. We are all prepared to work hard but there is always plenty of fun and laughter.
You don't get an office vibe this good without fabulous management, Gill offers the perfect balance of serious boss, caring confident and yet she also accepts a good practical joke (or two!). Thanks Gill - you're the best.

I joined EVES at the Mount because I see in Gill how well she manages a challenging team and area, and provides excellent and well informed support as well as always having time as a fantastic soundboard to resolve issues and troubleshoot our day to day activities. She really is the mainstay of the office and as the face of the brand to us, provides a consistent and professional quality to the brand.
She is always available to the team and is the heart and soul of the office, creating a remarkable workspace for the team, cajoling, chastising and encouraging in equal measures!
